The Project
Luzerner Kantonalbank extended its existing AIS/PSS offering with OpenWealth-based connectivity via the SIX bLink platform.
The objective of the project was to establish a standardized integration chain between Avaloq, Asubium A.dapt, ti&m Banking Suite, SIX bLink and Assetmax in order to support custody data exchange and digital order placement processes for external wealth management and portfolio management solutions.
The implementation enabled the bank to expand its existing service offering towards modern OpenWealth-based integration capabilities while leveraging the established Avaloq core banking environment.
Our Contribution
Asubium contributed to the project with its Avaloq and integration expertise, focusing primarily on the Avaloq-side implementation and the A.dapt integration layer.
A major part of the contribution consisted of extracting, preparing and delivering all required custody-related data from Avaloq to the connected downstream systems within the OpenWealth ecosystem.
In addition, Asubium implemented the order placement functionality in Avaloq, including the creation and processing of both single and bulk stock exchange orders originating from the external integration chain.
Asubium also provided technical and functional support throughout the overall integration project, closely collaborating with ti&m and the involved platform providers to ensure stable end-to-end integration across all participating systems.
The Added Value
The project enabled Luzerner Kantonalbank to extend its existing AIS/PSS offering with standardized OpenWealth connectivity via SIX bLink.
By combining Avaloq, A.dapt, ti&m services and OpenWealth standards, the bank established a scalable integration architecture for custody data exchange and external order placement processes.
The solution reduced the need for proprietary point-to-point integrations and strengthened the bank’s ability to integrate external portfolio management and wealth management platforms in a standardized and future-oriented way.
