The Project
Baloise, together with ti&m and Asubium, successfully introduced a modern e-banking solution in just 16 months. A key advantage of the integration solution lies in its open, event-based architecture. This also enabled a customer-friendly migration, allowing existing clients to automatically and independently transfer their e-banking contracts.
Our Contribution
With our adapter A.dapt, we implemented and integrated all required interfaces between the Avaloq core banking system and the new e-banking solution—both for reading and writing.
All central processes were connected: trading, payments, address and card management, as well as third-party systems such as Twint, Instant Payment, and PAIN file management. In addition, we developed a new contract management solution within the Avaloq system and embedded it into the operational processes. For the migration, we created interfaces that enabled the automatic online transfer of existing e-banking contracts.

The event-based architecture forms the foundation for the strategic expansion of the integration platform. Thanks to our Avaloq and integration expertise, Asubium can optimally support Baloise in further development and future enhancements. Furthermore, A.dapt provides targeted monitoring on the core banking side: it oversees the export of events and the processing of writing interfaces—ensuring stability and smooth operations.
