I began my career in the British Army as a Radio Telegraphist with the Royal Signals before transitioning into the Private Banking Sector in the UK.

While advancing in the Investment Department, having roles in multiple areas in the office, I taught myself to code, which eventually led me to lead my first migration of a banking system in 2003. With this experience I decided to pivot again, focusing on Migration and have since worked as a migration specialist on numerous UK and international Avaloq projects, helping streamline banking systems globally.

I have a particular passion for Golang with Text User Interfaces and Jupyter Notebooks for Data Analysis and it’s fun to see what LLM’s can do to help with it all.

Outside the tech world, I balance my time with my lifelong passion for Chinese martial arts, ensuring I stay connected to both mental and physical well-being.
