Spencer Attridge - Manager
Taking an unconventional route my career started in the British Army as a Radio Telegraphist before leaving and entering the Private Banking Sector in the United Kingdom. Whilst rising through the ranks at the Investment Department, I taught myself how to code. This handily led to my running my first migration of a system in 2003. Not long after I changed tracks once more to concentrate on Migration and ever since I have worked as a migration specialist on various UK and International Avaloq projects.
Outside of work, I'm often involved in what in the UK is called a busman's holiday. I migrate genealogical data from the sources available, into a graph database as a member of the One-Name Guild. My passion here is the untidiness of data and I enjoy the challenge of wrangling the data. And if I'm not in front of the computer, I'll be as the Chinese call it, 'playing' Kung Fu.
