Following thorough training as an Application Developer at a major Swiss insurance company, and gaining a degree in Business Information Technology at the University of Applied Sciences, in 2001 I moved to banking. Since then I have spent a large part of my career on Avaloq projects in Switzerland and other countries, and had the opportunity to gain an insight into many different aspects of the banking environment. The focus of my expertise lies in payment transactions, compliance and object modelling.

I spend my free time enjoying the great outdoors on long mountain bike tours and hikes. When I have a bit more time I go off exploring the world together with my wife both above and under the water.
